Gradius III, Battle Lode Runner, and Wonder Boy Added to the Virtual Console

Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing Gradius III (SNES, 1 player, 800 points), Battle Lode Runner (TG16, 2 players, 600 points), and Wonder Boy In Monster World (GEN, 1 player, 800 points) on the Wii Shop Channel at 12noon EST. Gradius III is a must buy...it's a great shooter and a somewhat faithful port of the arcade version. I must say that the Virtual Console is becoming a "shmup" lover's dream...now where is Zelda 2?

Punch Out!!, Bonk's Revenge, and Virtua Fighter 2 Added to the Virtual Console

Nintendo has just announced that they will be releasing Punch Out!! (NES, 1 player, 500 points), Bonk's Revenge (TG16, 1 player, 600 points), and Virtua Fighter 2 (GEN, 2 players, 800 points) on the Wii Shop Channel at 12noon EST. Wow, what a great line-up today. Punch Out!! and Bonk's Revenge are must haves. Let's hope Nintendo can keep up the pace and release more great games next week...Zelda 2 anyone?

Galaga, Bravoman, and Alex Kidd Added to the Virtual Console

Nintendo has just announced that they will be releasing Galaga (NES, 1-2 players, 500 points), Bravoman (TG16, 1 player, 600 points), and Alex Kidd In The Enchanted Castle (GEN, 2 players, 800 points) on the Wii Shop Channel at 12noon EST. There isn't anything worth getting excited about, Alex Kidd is really the only game worth a download...
