Nintendo To Add NEO-GEO And MSX To The Virtual Console
Written by Dave

Nintendo of Japan has announced on it's website that they will be adding two new game systems to the Virtual Console. Starting this summer, MSX and NEO-GEO games will be released weekly on the Wii Shop Channel. The first two MSX games will be Eggy and Aleste, and will cost 800 Wii points each. No NEO-GEO titles have been mentioned.

It will be intresting to see how Nintendo addresses the Wii's minuscule system memory. With most NEO-GEO games weighing in at 256MB apiece, the Wii's paltry 512MB will not be enough to satisfy gamer's VC demands. Is a Nintendo-produced external hard drive add-on in the works?
